This year Active Kids teamed up with the Woodland Trust to give schools a chance to get growing this autumn. We were lucky enough to receive six trees from this project. Three of the trees have been donated to the Islington Council to plant in gardens and parks in the borough. The children and teachers planted a wild rose bush and a black thorn in the gardens at St. Andrew’s. We will plant our hazel tree in the Barnsbury Wood conservation area next week. We look forward to these trees becoming a beautiful feature in our lovely gardens for years to come.
