“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.” ― Plato
At St. Andrew’s Montessori we believe that music is a universal language enjoyed by everyone irrespective of gender, culture or background. Music changes lives whether it makes us cry, puts a smile on our face, it brings families and communities together and teaches us about the world in which we live.
Singing and playing music is a big part of our day, whether when washing hands or listening to Zulu lullabies while learning about Africa. Our children love it so much we decided to celebrate this by sharing recordings of their wonderful music sessions. When discussing this with our boys and girls, together we decided to use the magic of music to help our local community and charities, chosen on a regular basis as appropriate.
While this music isn’t the property of St. Andrew’s Montessori School, the children have loved performing these songs purely for the purpose of raising money to help those in need. To this end we hope you thoroughly enjoy and sing along to our songs and if you feel appropriate please do click on this terms chosen charity link below in order to donate what you feel appropriate giving the reference “St. Andrew’s Montessori – Monty’s Music”.
