We have adopted Olivia

Olivia the Dexter cow arrived at Freightliners farm in 2002. She is now a mature lady of 13 years old and eats 1kg of beef nuts a day, 100 bales of straw per year plus lots and lots of grass!

Dexters are small hill cattle originating from the mountains of Eire. Although once an endangered breed, numbers are on the rise. Dexters are small, easy to manage, gentle in  nature and yet a very hardy cattle breed.
