The children in our Reception Class have been learning about various plants and the landscapes they grow in this term. Along with their teacher, Catherine, they have created some of these landscapes.
Labels were made to describe the landscapes which parents found very helpful. The children’s handwriting has really improved throughout the year, we encourage them to write phonetically (hence some incorrect spelling).
Cactus like the hot sun in the desert. Tumbleweed grows as it tumbles.
Under the sea, seaweed is growing. In the sea kelp grows for the sea urchins.
This is our rainforest. It has lots of trees. Trees have lots of leaves.
My garden has flowers and bushes. The tree has a person in it. There are lots of trees and mushrooms in the garden.
